Equine Thermography Business Opportunity
Equine Thermography is a non-invasive diagnostic technique to evaluate horses for a variety of issues, from hoofs to saddles. Infrared reads temperature variations in a horse, enabling a trained veterinarian to intrepret the images and make recommendations.
Using infrared equine thermography is cost-effective, since xrays are only used on specific body parts, once inflamation and other problems are examined.
Joanna Robson, DVM is EquineIR’s technical director. She evaluates the images taken by EquineIR members and produces a full report for the horse owner to use with their veterinarian.
For more information, visit: EquineIR.com.
EquineIR is a training module developed by UnitedInfrared to enable thermographers to develop a new business component.
